WOW! How I would love that view from my backdoor! (..certainly won't happen -- especially because I live in SE Texas!)
I love the blue sky, the building with the cupola, and the rest of the snow-covered foliage/trees.
However, this pine should really not be placed exactly in the middle of the frame. ...better to put your boots on -- and step a few feet to the left or right --- for more interest!

In the heat we have been having, this is a very refreshing shot. Lovely view, love the clarity in this shot, great shadow from the tree.

It can start as early as October but it just depends on the year! Last year was a hard long cold snowy winter! Luckily it can be very beautiful too=)
Thanks so much for the very nice rating and review!

A very lovely view for sure a great Christmas card but for that you got to change your eternal block border into a green one- your place is nice and calm and your way you placed this tree in your frame is well defined letting the other trees fill in - I love the n ice look on the house just like a free space -
you timing is perfect for this shot as nobody crossed yet and the snow is intact and fresh giving you this special winter wonder land , great job, thanks for sharing

As soon as this came up on the review panel I thought "Ha, Christmas in July". I agree, I think this would make a fine family Christmas card. I like the blue sky hovering above the cold scenery. Nice Shooting. Kathy
