The lavendar tones in the flower heads are simply ideal... subtle and yet most appealing, especially with the subtle and muted green background. Nice shadows on the stems. Lovely image all around.

thanks or this positive review. Yes, this was taken after the storm, actually. This had been an odd Summer. It had been raining and storming on and off, every week, and felt like a Fall weather instead of high heat index.

This is so soft and gentle and yet it makes a bold statement in it's simplicity. The colour combination is divine and those little droplets of water give an added extra special touch. Really a super photograph that I've enjoyed viewing.

Oh my sister-in-law told me about the beauty of the hosta flower whilst they were visiting Canada. The buds certainly are interesting and promise more beauty. Love the subtle colouring - good focus and dof.
