A cracking nature shot.Great composition, focus and light. You dont give any camera details, ie Manual or auto setting but very good work.

WOW this one is a 6* for sure , fantastic capture, you angle an position are stunning, would have been a great contest entry for unexpected angles - your got close like a thief but he got you loll, your shot is perfect in timing just the very moment he looks at you - stunning close up with perfect focus n d exposure , pin sharp in all details - great contrast and lighting

I love his surprising face with the feather standing high like saying hey what do you want? - Your sky has stunning colors adding a great blue in addition , fantastic capture, thanks for sharing

Dang it, I am out of higher stars. This is a killer shot my friend. Love the blues and you got the whites spot on. The clouds adds great textures and really helps frame the jay. Again, it is a little dark (the jay) but it maybe my monitor. I will have to look at this when I get home to be sure. Well worth a hihg mark. Beautiful work and thanks for sharing.

I could tell right away that this was not shot this way because my experience tells me that it is impossible to get enough depth of field when shooting this close to the subject to show the background in detail. I like the pose and the cropping and the colors are very nice.
