I didn't realize Brigitte Bardot created the Saint Torpez trend! It looks like a beautiful place. Nice shot showing the pretty colors in the architecture.

Fred,
A great view of St Tropez from your boat with the church tower standing out above the other roof tops. Beautifully framed by the tree covered hills on either side & the blue Mediterranean in front. I can in my mind's eye see the sea rising & falling in front of me & the sunshine lighting up the tiled roofs of the buildings. I understand Brigitte Bardot lives a secluded life with her beloved animal these days. Beautiful composition & lighting with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Another nice photograph from your travels. Like the way you captured the movement in the water, but I find the actual town little dark and blurry.

Interesting shot. I might suggest that since the point of this picture is the city you could crop some of the water as it's competing for attention. The noon day sun on the roofs makes an interesting shot. I'd clone out that irritating crane in the bkg.

Great information about the famous woman - great capture of showing that beach town from the sea side giving it a total different perspective - I love your panorama cut as it brings a nice balance between water and land into your image - super focus, nice general view point - may be a bit dark to see more details - hope to see more, thanks for sharing

You certainly get around supergold, how wonderful to be a world traveller and to have such a wonderful photographic record of all these fantastic places.
This is home for you I know and your repertoire of Cannes photos must be huge. This is a very nice photo to add to your collection.

The blues of the sea are just fabulous... couldnīt ask for a better framing of the cityscape/townscape. Nice clarity and positioning of the sky gives a nice contrast to the deeper blues of the sea. Lovely work!

I had no idea she was responsible for the creation of a town! A very beautiful woman in her day, she must have been loved by many for them to build her a town. A great view from the ocean Fred with excellent techs all around:)

Looks interesting from a distance. It's straight on the horizon which is good, the scene looks dark though and I think could be slightly sharper! The view is nice though.
