I use the cannon rebel t5i and I shoot these with the telephoto lens 75-300! I have feeders set up outside on my patio deck and shoot through the sliding glass doors!=) Thanks so very much for the very nice rating and review my friend=)

Lovely close up of this very colourful Cardinal - yes, he does look as if he's telling you to get a move on with his feed! I like the addition of the clouds which makes a nice background.

I love the colors and the very fine cropping. Not so much the clouds as I have mentioned before. This is a difficult pose to photograph with the subject "staring right down the barrel". The sharply rendered clouds bring attention to the fact that the bird is not rendered in the same sharp detail. Nice catchlight in the eye which is often a problem with cardinals.

...a wee bit out of focus, and I think the color was pushed a bit far. However, the composition of this shot is perfect!!! (Love thee cardinal's noosed-up hair!)

I like the lines of the feeder not he left and that the cardinals' face is not directly in the center of the frame. Nice clouds in the background!

Nice catch. Love the head feathers from this angle. Perhaps a little too saturated especially against the red of the feeder. Looks a bit like a painting. I would darken that down a little to give more contrast and focus to the bird. Cheers, JR
