You might had entered this in a black and white competition but those green eyes are just so beautiful. You have captured the perfect light in them. The eyes of innocence. The fur is tops too. Love the whole image. Wish I had a 6 to give you Sandy

Amazing green eyes, so shiny and alive and looking like they have just spied a mouse. Such intensity in those vibrant green eyes. Very well painted.

Jst by the strokes alone, I can identify whose excellent work is this!
So the blinder defeats its purpose.
His left eye constricts a bit as opposed to the perfect right feline eye.
Are we not allowed to color the cute nose pink?
Superb detailed strokes.
Palpable texture.

Thanks very much for your lovely review. Yes, I agree about the left eye - think I need glasses! Did put a little pink on the nose but it doesn't show up very well.

The innocence of a kitten is clearly apparent in this dear little face. The mischief is just waiting to get into gear.Cats and kittens are great subjects and there are no two identical when it comes to painting the different expressions. This is a lovely capture.

This is very well done. I'd give this a six, but I don't feel good about that since it is my contest, lol.
This however, is eactly what the contest is about, the classic use of selective coloring.
