I really like the texture of the painting. Great lines and brush strokes for the fur. Those eyes mesmerize me and are so beautiful against the black. Very nice job on the whiskers too and with the faint hint of pink on the nose. Great job!

I think this piece of work is brilliant -- even more so after I read your description of the contest criteria (which I think you met). I see excellent detailed brushwork in the fur and the deep clear green eyes really pop! It all works very effectively with the really tight framing.

I am a cat lover so was instively drawn to your work! Nice painting. Great detailing of the fur and lashes. Nice contrasting of values. Fine composition, quite bold, but effective. Not so sure about the eyes, never seen a cat quite that color of green, but thatīs probably because I havenīt seen enough :)
