Very nice sunflower photo. Great sharpness, good detail and lighting. I would have tried to darken the bottom left corner to eliminate the leaves, just slightly distracting. Overall good job! Well Done!

What I like about this...
The amount of colours that are actually in this flower. The fact that you have only chosen a portion of it rather than the entire thing makes it much more superior and eye catching I think.
The details are crystal clear, you can't fault it.
Save it for another competition.

Very nice - I tried to take one similarly and it did not turn out near as well. I have the hardest time shooting flowers.
I like the up-close, clearly focused section of this sunflower you captured. Very nice. The texture, detail, coloration; everything is enjoyable to look at. Nice work. Kathy

I totally agree with you. Sunflowers are photogenic. The yellow petals on this one looks rather small though, compared to the middle with all the seeds. I think this has created a problem for you when it comes to the composition. I think the middle part of the flower is taking up too much space.
This could probably have worked, but then this area has to be even better defined. Now it stands out too dark and almost a bit under exposed. Tour photo is however nice and sharp.
It is a creative way of showing this flower, and an all together well taken photo, but in need of a some adjustments.

Excellent close up of the sunflower. Here we are seeing something we wold never see with a naked eye, all the colours that appear from the centre of the flower to the petals. Great clarity.
