A beautiful sunny Alpine view with a colourful display of Rosebay Willow Herb in the foreground, the clouds overhead casting shadows on the distant rocky peak..Beautiful composition lighting & framing. Superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

Beautiful scene here Fred. Can't remember the name of those purple flowers but we have them at high elevation here in the Pacific Northwest as well. Gorgeous photo and yes I bet the snow gets deep in the winter here. Thanks for sharing the beautiful French Alps with us.
