Nice pic! The flower seems to be leaning into the frame -- to have its photograph taken!

I like the sharp focus and the muted background -- which sets off the bright yellow petals.

I really like the flat light and the simple composition. The colors and details in the flower are very fine. I especially like the room you left around the flower. So often people crop as tight as they can and crowd the subject. This is an elegant presentation and a joy to behold.

The rain droplets remind you of how the rain cleans the earth. Amazingly the flower does not look beaten down. The blur in the background is a good accent .
