A beautiful capture of beauty in the flower and beauty in the butterfly even if he Is a pest. he has some wonderful colours in his wings. The dapple green background certainly compliments the flower and butterfly. The flower or bush grows in gardens in Australia too. Most likely imported. Thanks for sharing your double beauty. sandy

Looks like a painting.

I wonder if other reviewers will give you a hard time about not showing the butterfly in full. I like this presentation, it's not cliche, our brains know it's a butterfly but it's in the beauty of the wings and the whole composition where this photograph rocks!

I'm more intrigued by the flower than the butterfly and I absolutely love the butterfly. It is so nice that you get to see all the wonders that you do and that you record them in pictures. Love it!

A wonderful picture of these beautiful Hibiscus Schizopetalus & the beautifully patterned Lime Butterfly perched on the stem of the pistil & stamens.Artistic composition beautiful lighting superb camera techniques with sharp focus.
