Wow!! That is a gorgeous photo Fred. Two very unique species that I've not seen before. Wish I could grow a hibiscus like this one and had beautiful butterflies come to visit. Beautiful photo and well captured. Really like this one with all that wonderful color. Nice work on this photo.

Thank you for the detailed explanation to both, butterfly and hibiscus. Great angle of shot, flowers seems to be upside down, and butterfly shows great details and colours.

A beautiful and unique Hibiscus and butterfly! I love her pattern, it looks handpainted, just gorgeous. Before I read the name I thought that stamen looks so much like a Hibiscus, lol! Super focus, composition, dof, exposure and framing my friend;)

WOW! This is lovely, and yes, double beauty. Love the sharp details of the wings an the stamen. Focus, lighting, angle and technical skills, high five. I only wish that the other bloom wasn't cut off, but over all this is already well captured and a beauty to behold.

The only reason this didn't get the 6 is because of the head not showing! It is a spectacular shot! The focus is fantastic! The colors are amazing! Gorgeous in every way! Great job my friend and thanks for sharing!

"schizopetalus"? Boy that's a new one on me. You think the guy who identified this was having fun? Very nice shot. As usual all the technics are spot on. I do wish the butterflies head was not obscured, but sometimes we have to take what we get. Very nice indeed. Cheers, JR.

Nice photograph the butterfly and flowers both very eye catching. The blurred back ground sets this very good shot off, a lovely composition.

The best of both worlds!
He can have the nectar of this hanging gumamela as the pull of gravity help her drain the nectar effortlessly.
I want to research on the name Fred but I'm just too busy--being active in 4 sites simultaneously.
Thanks!
