This is a fantastic piece of graphite work. The Contrast from black to white makes the muscle tone come to life the and makes it a very powerful looking piece of work. Always being a fan...Glad to see you back

Linda, this is a stunning piece of artwork!! I cannot give it anything but a 6!! You achieved what I can never do in that you have pulled out highlights to show the veins of the muscles in the subject. Your shading is superb also!!
I would like to know if you use charcoal in your work or graphite pencil or is it done with something else??
You are a brilliant artist and thank you for the privilege of letting us see this piece11

Dearest Barb, this is mechanical pencil. That is all I use, besides a blending stub. Other than that, nothing else. Thank you for the fabulous 6 star rating, and for your ever faithful reviews. Thank you again and again.

Well he certainly looks physically fit. This looks like a black and white photo. Amazing work. Realistic skin tone and body muscle. Nice cropping, nicely framed with great initial impact. Wonderful work.

Linda ur work is very impresive

Excellent work for the most part, with the one possible exception of his lips, which are not as well drawn. I am not entirely sure why you have the empty field to the right unless you are showcasing his pectoral.

Thank you for pointing that out to me. I will try to remember to draw the lips better. I don't like to put anything in the center of a drawing. I like the eye to travel through the canvas. Thank you for your review.

Oh I see, and that's really an interesting concept

Hi Linda,
This is excellent and almost as realistic as a photograph. Well done and more grease to your elbow! R

Thank you Ray. I want you to know that your thoughts on my work are so important to me. I wouldn't post my art on this site if the feedback wasn't important to me. Your feedback is so much coveted.

You are off the CHARTS TALENTED. I love that you present the half faced male half dressed. Your non space here just draws the eye into the superb quality of your pencil drawing. So well done. deserves more than a measly five.. next time
