This is a wonderful close up of the insect world. I never knew that bees were this hairy, but I am pleasantly surprised . The bee collecting pollen. I love the whole shot.

A great shot. How often do you see this kind of intimate look at a nectar sipping bee. Great focus, lighting, framing, and the soft focus background.

The eyes are nicely visible and have a good catchlight even if they are not prominent. Excellent colors and a dramatic perspective.

Sup...this is an intensely up close and personal shot of the bee. I do see the bright spot on the side of the head where the eyes actually are. What I really like is the clarity of the little hairs on the top of the head that look like a Mohawk. Very styling little bee. And I never realized that a bee like this has a basic prehistoric forehead. And this shot is clear enough to really see the sticky nectar the bee is looking for. Great shot.

WOW I just spend my last 6 and this one deserves one too - a stunning capture and true the eyes can be easily be confused with these tiny people like sensor buttons - your hyper macro shows all details of this face in perfection , these hair between the huge eyes create the "punk" effect and the eyes just looks like head phones

a fantastic composition, super angle and position, I love the fragile colors in the background letting your bee stand out very well against the background

your focus is spot on, contrast and lighting amazing - this face shows all textures is perfection, even a nose and mouth - I bet when these would be as big as cats, people would run ( Dracula face9 - wow shot, thanks for sharing
