Egrets are beautiful in of themselves. this is a wonderful capture. The two different blue hues of the feathers show really well. Thank you for sharing this beautiful bird. All I have around are the very large Blue Herons.

This right out of an Audubon coffee table book. The water's lighting and it's movement is fantastic. The low light of the scene is just enough to show off he detail of the feathers and his great head. The reflection is almost a mirror image save the ripples in the water. Super shot for Super Gold.

Sometimes, words are not adequate and this again, is one of those times. What a beautiful bird, the colors are so softly beautiful. What is striking is that it's not immediately apparent where the water and reflection meet in the water creating this lovely, impressionistic feel. I love the shapes and colors of the lower third and especially the area at the bottom left.

Even with the rippling water you managed to get a great mirror reflection in the water. Love the green in contrast to the heron. Framed well.

Absolutely stunning.
I thing the wavy reflection
is as pretty as the original.
I've never seen a bird
like this with the mixed blue and white feathers, but they are beautiful.
The greens against the blues and whites is so nice.
Peaceful.
