This is a very nice entry for the contest! The butterfly doesn't blend into the background -- and is able to stand out on its own.

The composition is superb -- (as one would expect from you.)

I really like the dynamic tonal quality this butterfly has offered in Black and white. Great patterns and interest overall in this image. Focus is crystal clear, Frame and position are presented to allow full appreciation of the subject. A nice soft background that allows the moth to take center stage. Nice. Kathy
