WOW that is one cooling moth! I love the colors, and the eyes, how those spots work as eyes, it's amazing. Great focus here as always. Thanks for sharing.

Nice sharp focus on this AWESOME Comet moth Fred! Really nice details and colors. Cropping is a bit tight on the left and I may have softened the background, but I know you well enough to just let you be and say NICE Shooting Fred!

Sup...this is amazing and one of the most beautiful and different moths I have ever seen in my life. It is truly gorgeous. I love how crystal clear the focus is s that you can see every detail of the wings. And the antenna's are so very unusual looking. And they do look like feathers. I really like the way the "tails" are crossed over the way they are. The colors are very vibrant and the darker background really gives it a tropical feel about the photograph. Great lighting also. I think you did a fantastic job.

You are so very welcome. And that is a very unique moth. We don't have anything like that around here. But we do have the common Lunar Moths, they are pretty cute....lol

This is absolutely stunning.
Purples and yellows and
unrivaled design.
It almost looks like those
long tails are tip toeing across the photo.
I'm glad you mentioned the feather antennae, I might have missed them.
I note that you have even managed to get a lavender cast to the limbs. I have to ask what the white object is the moth is clinging to.
Excellent coverage.

A beautiful specimen. He must have just hatched from the cocoon in the background for his tails to be still intact. Excellent colors and great cropping.
