Hi, Annie.
Beautiful! Excellent work on making it all appear underwater. Love the diver in the background. The mermaid doesn't seem to notice he's there. Beautiful work on the composition and placement of all objects. I know you work with a lot of photos and was wondering if you mistakenly listed this as 2D art or did you actually paint all these gorgeous fish, etc. lol. Possible, because I know you are a fantastic artist also. Just curious. Fantastic work, my friend, and good luck in the contest! :)shawn

Thank you so very much for the lovely review and also for the very generous rating. The only thing I have added that wasn't painted was the diver. It was sort of an idea I got when it was all finished.

Every little girls would love this image. An exotic and magical scene. This will surely make a nice book cover or perfect for fantasy stories, to compete with Little Mermaid. The composition is superb. Excellent concept. Well done and is very entertaining.

This wonderful piece would fit into any of Walt Disney's films. Maybe the Little Mermaid from the Danish Hans Christian Anderson fits the fantasy well. beautiful colours, water flow and I feel like the fish are actually moving. beautifully done. sandy

Beautiful mermaid. Love the star in his hair and all details of the seabed. The facial expression is sad, however. Maybe his prince is very far, or is an impossible love. Any way, I love it. Well done.

This is a new medium for me, the digital art and I like the way it is presented. I can see where is would be great for illustration of books. Beautiful aqua water giving that under the sea feel. Well proportioned and images are placed in such a manner to draw the eye around and through the rocks. I like the added touch of the diver swimming the background. very pretty and well framed

I love this composition certainly inspired from the Greek Myth and Holiday's - As a treasure Hunter I love this specially as your have chosen as one of the subjects this head of a statue that needs discovery and you also show that whatever goes down on the ocean ground gets integrated into the ocean life
a very beautiful composition, with beautiful clear water color - your mermaid is magic and the way you brought all the different items into your frame is very lovely and well created
A very harmonious picture with special light effects showing the energy flow of the waters -
your color choice is well balanced in green and brown tones, naturally enhanced and beautiful
