This is quite an interesting piece. Love the contrasting colors of the mermaid and fish. They each in their own right have attention focused on them. The look in the mermaid's eyes draws your attention to her companion. Nicely done.

This is awesome, really fantastic. I am most drawn to this beautiful little fish. It looks like it has some kind of fur. The eyes appear to be in a kind of gel like substance, like a jelly fish. Wonderful creation.

This is a very lovely creation and for sure a story to tell - a very beautiful encounter between this excellent fish and the lovely mermaid , this shows union no matter what size and what species - a beautiful story of live and understanding ,. I love the fish looking like made of wool with all the soft pastel colors al around - the way the mermaid is looking at him shows that they are communicating- words are not need as spirit is the universal language - the silver decorations are very playful enhancing the picture , shadow and light are in perfect balance , beautiful color choice, super DOF, a very lovely creation, and nice contest entry , thanks for sharing and the best of luck

Love the little fish-he looks as though he is glowing like some of the deep sea creatures creating their own light. THe mermaid's eyes are well done with the catch light believably positioned. This makes one want to know what secrets are being exchanged here in the dialog! Very nicely done! jean
