I live in Devon (UK) where the national dish (?)seems to be strawberries and jam and devon cream all thickly applied to a freshly baked scone...Yum Yum...the strawberries shown would be a fantastic bonus !!

Well I'll take strawberry's any way they are served. Its one of the best tasting fruits of the loom. They are my number one with my bananas to my smoothies and I freeze them before use - its awesome.

Imagine that, a strawberry named after Mara. Well sort of, Mara is Mara of the sea not Mara of the forest. ha Neat shot of this container of strawberries with interesting information about them. This is the closest I have ever been to a strawberry, and the color and shape of this strawberry is perfect. I think, what really sets it off is the carton it is in. That purple makes the red even redder. I love this shot.
