Not just the parenthood! Grand parenthood too!
Kids can have that effect!
Colourful, intricate.

    Thanks so much for enjoying!

I guess I'm confused about why this has to do with parenthood. (I gave birth to three!) ...except that often the pieces of life seem disjointed... and life gets crazy with everyone's schedule!

Nice colors.

Exactly!! Kind of beautiful but also chaotic!

A great title .. the energetics if this mixed media is off the charts. I have had this thought about family dynamics and often relate to it as 'family magnetics' with loads of multigenerational and cultural positive and negative charges all swirling about in a field of dreams and broken dreams of both parents and children and then at the end of the day when one stands back far enough and dismantles the form we see we did 'good enough' and that everything is relative to everything else. Here your art and title is tied together with the black as if to shed more light on the pieces yet to brought into the light. Colors are like these mood swings and have a psychedelic experience that has a bit of craziness and pleasures associated with its offerings. Well done .. this would make for a lovely mural 3' wide and 6' long at the end or beginning of a long passage (wink)

Wow! That is an incredible review!! Maybe the most sophisticated I have ever read on an abstract! It is amazing to me that an abstract can 'speak' to another person with all the nuance of prose and the lyricism of poetry. So much of my abstracts this year have been about putting the pieces of my life together or at least looking at the meaning behind the chaos and inchoate-ness of love and life and family. More and more I think our own powerlessness in the world and how we cope with it is the major obstacle us humans face and the most important test of maturity. Thank you for giving me validation and food for thought. Fondly Paula

Hi Paula,
You sure got my attention with this bright and bold feast of colors.Yes,I can see a lot in this work that pertains to
parenthood.A lot of screaming and crying,to me the color blue represents puberty and all of the changes happening.I love most abstract art and you have done an amazing job here.Good Luck in the contest~
Angelheart :)

The full framing reminds me of the old cross work puzzles my grandmother use to play with.

This just pops out at you, it is vibrant and alive. Strong and bold with no concern for muted pallets, this is great. Would work as a poster edition so more people could enjoy it. dave :)
