Great eye catching photograph, nice position of the bird, well captured post sitting on the dead tree. Very sharp image and colours.

It is not easy shooting white and black in the bright sun, but you have managed well with only a few minor bright spots.
This looks like a Little Black Cormorant judging by the white that outlines his bill.
You have captured his gorgeous eye and fab blue sky well.
Thanks for sharing this one, as I never seen a Little Black Cormorant before.
Your bird photography is improving. Well done Fred!👏👏😉👍👊

You have caught this ungainly looking Commorant in "Full throttle" against the most vivid blue skies I have ever seen...well done you

A good shot with a beautiful
natural background.
Perfect posture, but his legs look so crooked.
Is that natural.
Isn't the white pretty on his face.
Long beak, and I bet he can make a loud call. Assume his mate came soon.
thanks for sharing this.
Oh, one more look and I figured out the branch is what is crooked. It almost looks like an extension of his legs. It's been a long day.

Great photo of this unusual looking bird. I can honestly say that I've never seen a cormorant. I love the pointed downturned beak. the splash of yellow at the edge of the beak.

A very nice profile of this fish eating machine. I love the hooked beak and the crystalline eye. Very nice colors and excellent composition.

LOLL, another nice Sange dedication and just saw hers loll , you are keeping up quite well , this is a stunning capture, beautiful as this big body is sitting on skinny short legs creating a stunning impression, these branches looks like the legs he does not have , but he seems to sing Ewell

great focus, excellent capture with a wonderful uniform sky building a perfect natural color contrast for the black guy . Super clear and sharp - fantastic harmonious composition, excellent in contrast and lighting , well done
