A great capture with the perfect uncluttered BG, the blue just makes the bird stand out, good eye contact and sharp in the eye region, the light is a little against you and there are some hot spots, but under the conditions handled very well, this works on all levels. dave :)

Well a cormorant certainty is an interesting looking bird. Wonderful colors and framing. Nice shot. His lovely black feathers blend well with the branch that he is sitting on.
