Okay...awwww! Koalas are so cute. Excellent composition and exposure. I think your depth of field was a bit too shallow as his eyes are almost in focus but not as sharply as his fur. I've been taught that with animals to primarily focus on the eyes. Other than that, beautiful photo! I love it!

thanks again; certainly only uploading problems,as usual; from the distance where itwas taken , about 4 meters, even at the largest aperture it is impossible to have a focus difference for a few mm only

You and Mary are in a Koala contest these days. Good entry for the Awww contest and I told Mary hers would be as well with the mom and baby Koala. They are so cute and this one is really watching you as it hugs the tree. I want one for a pet! Excellent photo and thanks for sharing it. Should do well in the contest.

Awwww is right! Too cute for words. Love the facial expression you captured the over all body language is just yelling "Cuddle with me". Great focus, clarity throughout the fur and a nice soft background to offer depth and separation to the subject. Nice. Kathy

A beautiful picture of the Koala sitting in the fork of a tree branch it's eyes just open looking around to see what woke it from it's slumber. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus.
