This is a great shot perfect composition with main subject on a third. Has great strength with the waves crashing and really captured the movement. Almost looks like a painting.

Good composition

Colors of sky and water meld well and I like that you have captured the crest of the wave. He is still heading for the top but he is under control and looking ahead for his next twist. In full command of the board.

Nice body position and I think this is a good wave for him. Good story image.

They look like huge waves Mary, just right for the surfers to enjoy. I'd watch from shore however! ha This makes a really nice action shot as the surfer rides the big wave trying to get in the curl. Well done and thanks for sharing it.

If the surfer was going toward the beach, where were you to take this great shot? Lots of action in the waves and surfer.Nice light and colors captured. I would like to get an image just like yours but I do not live by an ocean. Good luck on taking more great shots.
