Excellent entry for the rustic contest Fred. These buildings sure fit the criteria and with that unique rowing style of the fisherman this has got to be a winner in this contest. Excellent photo with a great initial impact. Bet you have a good chance of winning with this one.

Wonderful shot.
Excellent initial impact. It does look rusty. I like the clarity and focus. The lighting is perfect. Great choice for the contest. Good luck. Thanks for sharing.

It is always amazing when a photograph can show us how people in other lands live their day to day lives. The houses look so frail. Would we live in such houses. Excellent photograph.

This is a very interesting photo. I like the houses in the background. What is that guy doing in the boat? Is he trying to catch fish with that net or something ? Well done! Thanks for sharing :)

A stunningly beautiful capture. Color, clarity, framing, subject, all make this an interesting and pleasing photograph to simply sit and study. Nice work.

Fantastic capture, a great contest choice as this is not old but similar and still serving for many people and you show at the same time that they are fisher men , the way they work is natural and genuine and your shot is taken at the very perfect timing to show they way they work, this picture covers several topics at the same time, journalism, life style, profession, environment all in one , stunning composition, I love the view points you choose, you have such an eye for beautiful spots to show the perfection of any place , super focus, perfect contrast and natural lighting , a very peaceful essence -thanks for sharing, all the best of luck

Almost two shots to be had here, the man alone would have made for a good shot, although a bit closer would have been better, and the old rustic buildings again a bit closer would have made for another shot, nicely seen and taken shot...brian
