Love pet portraits. This is a gorgeous dog and he looks as though there is a lot going on in that brain. Great job on the fur coat and features on the face. I like the sepia paper too.

Thanks Jean for the kind words and review. Yes, it is an unusual subject for me but I challenged myself by entering the Animal Art contest a while back and spent the weekend on this. It was fun! :) R

Soft initial impact. Focus and lighting are a little soft. Nice creativity of subject. Left ear cropped to tight. Like the facial expression. Nice proportions.

I think it might be soft looking because of the sepia paper?
