Yes I have seen both but the red is the more common. I had never thought of the yellow as not the flower before. I am not sure that I like the b/g with the partial image of the flower showing. Nice contrast of color.

Not one of the most attractive flowers in the world. They are so common here in Florida in both colors and grow like weeds. Thankfully you were able to make it look much more beautiful than usual with the perfect angle and arrangement to the trio spray of blooms and the soft background. It just proves anything can be made into good art by a skilled artist.

I got these too, they are beautiful - your composition is very lovely with this enhanced reflection as background , your focus is fantastic, contrast and lighting perfect
your frame is well chosen and these three blooms are filling the space very nicely - I love the perspective from the three different view points and the way the leaves are placed giving the image a playful character
your exposure is perfect , your subjects are clear and sharp standing very well out against the soft background , a very beautiful presentation, all the best for the contest
