I wish the top of his head wasn't cut off. Your focus is good but there's too much going on in the background to make the owl stand out much.

Thank you for the review and the suggestions. I understand the cropping is too close but the contest is supposed to be camouflage.

Excellent capture of the owl itself ... nice color and lovely detail in the plumage. If you had any choice, perhaps he would stand out better against a darker background, rather than the neutral one. Nice work.

Thank you so much! The back ground was all part of the habitat he was recuperating in. Owls are a favorite of mine as well. :)
