I think I have said before, your pencil drawings are amazingly skilled- Handsome man, imagined or half half? beautifully drawn- Is this for a particular purpose (ie most of my paintings illustrate either something which happened in my life or a story or more likely, a poem of which I have written hundreds) It is extremely life like, even the hands, I love hands and feet, and tend to enlarge them as I find them so interesting to paint and draw and also on wood carvings. Excellent

Dear Bert, when I drew this, I was so very new to drawing, and I just loved the look. There really isn't a story or a reason. I just kind of went with what I could accomplish. Thank you for your inquiry, and for your wonderful review.

You, friend, have a great talent. The face alone is stunning. The eyes speak to you. Eyes are so hard to make look real. I love his high cheekbones as well. I wish I had those. The detail in the coat sleeves adds much dimension to your drawing. You are truly blessed with a great gift.

Your ability to create light and shadows is too good.It looks so real as if it were a photograph.Those eyes are marvelous.The hair,the headrest and the coat he is wearing has come out so good.Special talent of doing such splendid art work with just graphite pencils.

your talent completely astounds me. I can't really come up with the words to describe such talent. The solemn expression on the mans face, the cheek bones and the back swept hair, ever tiny line is draw to perfection. You are one of the most talented people I have met on here.

Your work is absolutely beautiful. You have such talent. The hands folded together, and way his shirt kind of puffs of from laying down. His facial features are sharp, almost native American high boned cheeks.
His hair combed perfectly in place completes this retiring gentlemen.
