Amazingly rich textures, perfectly capturing the desired flavor and feeling. Your ability to create a feel for time and place is magnificent. Excellent rendering skills. Thanks

    Thank you so much BC.

So realistic. So skillfully drawn. What I like about this portrait is that you have captured the pensive mood of the subject. Overall an impressive work. Thanks for sharing!

There's a lot of detail here that you had to challenge you. You met the challenge nicely and came up with a very nice finished piece. The shading and detail to his jacket are well done as well as his facial features. Nice job!

Linda, you are nothing less than amazing! This is perfect, in fact in my eyes, it's much better than a pile of photographic portraits. I finally wised up and held on to a couple decent rating numbers, instead of using all of them early and having nothing left by Thursday morning. I truly can say that I've seen nothing this week that would stand up to this. It's just awesome! Thank you, and may God bless you mightily. Lynnieellie

Looks too much like a corpse as if this fellow has been dead for a while. Its not one of your best pieces of work.

Thanks for sharing it.

Hey qb, his eyes are open. That means he is alive. Why would I draw a corpse. There is a big difference between dead and pensive. Your review is interesting. I appreciate it.

I don't know, that's just the way it looked to me.

I might as well just reserve an extra star each week for your work. I sure hope you have a gallery that is promoting you and your talent. Here this young aristocrat lies back, hands folded as if part this were an illustration out of a Dickens novel, could it be Pip from great expectations or maybe the young confused soul from Brideshead Revisited. My guess it is the that collective part of the young man in solitude deeply reflecting on this moment of importance as if his life depends on what he does next. Bravo again

What a fantastic review. Thank you for your in depth study of this work. I was just told by another reviewer that he looks like a corpse, one that has been dead for awhile. So your review is very refreshing. Thank you for the 6 stars.
