What a strange looking creature cross between a slug & a beetle...I could not find it on Google. Beautiful composition, lighting & framing with superb camera techniques with razor sharp focus.

This is nature imitating mixed media arts . Your photo is beyond good iti is superb at all levels. Context, contrast, interest, detail. There is not a wasted element in this photo. Gallery worthy and it looks like ninja candy to my limited eye. Great Piece SG

A stunning bug indeed opening the mind for investigation - from this macro to me it looks kind like sweet candy bugs as they have a similar textures - your capture is exceptional from position, angle and perspective , excellent focus, perfect exposure , your picture is clear and sharp and the bug stand well out against the red of the flower , your picture is well framed , your contrast and lighting are good as well , a special find fur sure, all the best for the contest

Wow that is one weird bug, fascinating, sure some kid didn't drop a jelly and it stuck to the back :)

Like the focus which is sharp and the texture of the bug is very clear. Background makes a good contrast for this one (little too vibrant on the other post today). Be interesting if someone can identify it - I had quick look on internet and came up blank.
