This little rodent is for sure naturally cute. I think especially the bright and shiny eye is captured well, and with the neutral background the animal is standing out well. It is however easy to see that the background is worked on. This is visible around the whiskers, and a spot is also left at the top of the back.
You have focused on the eye and this area is nice and sharp, but I would also have liked to see the rest of the body sharper. Loss of details is also due to a slight over exposure in this area.
I think the cropping is working well and the animal is well placed within the frame. This makes for a good and well balanced composition. Indeed a sweet photo, but in need of some adjustments.
