Your name must be Suzanne. I know of no other here on FAR that is able to do such a work, create such a truly beautiful image! The use of velour paper gives you away. I am going to order some today from SAA in the UK if I can find their website. Wish me luck! I love pastel sticks, too. Maybe one day I can do something that approaches this quality. I sure hope so!

Thank you so much for your lovely review. Actually this wasn't on the velour paper as I've run out of that at the moment and I didn't think the pastels blended in as well. Good luck in getting some velour paper.

Just wanted you to know that I put in an order for 4 pads of velous paper this morning. now I have to wonder about shipping time from England. Usually it takes 4 to 6 weeks to ship things here from anywhere. The mail service here is simply a disgrace. they tried to privatize their mail service not so long ago and they are still paying the price for their mistaken ideology.

Hopefully it won't take that long. When I was in NZ I ordered stuff from the SAA and it took about 2 to 3 weeks though it might be different now! Let me know how you get on. Suzanne

it was you who noted ¨canvas paper¨ very recently, right? I had never heard of it but think I grasp how it might be done. I like the name ¨Society of All Artists¨ ... it has a wonderful ring to it ... like an international cartel of intentional do-gooders :) I am proud to subscribe to such a name bearer. And congrats to you for Scotland deciding to stay in the marriage. but Glascow struck a clear warning note, didn´t it?
