This is beautiful and you have captured and framed it well. I have to ask you, is this the work of the glass artist Chihully? In 2002 Olympic games in Salt Lake I was a docent at his exhibit. I wish cameras had been allowed. I have never seen a multi colored one like this. It really caught my eye.

The work is by Dale Chuhilly of Tacoma or Seattle Washington, not sure where with exactness other than knowing his shop is just down the road from a fellow FAR member. So here we have varying shaped leaves and fans on either side of obvious beauty. This is variation and contrast to the background and should be ideal for the popping phenomenon... but perhaps with a tad more contrasting and darkness in the background you could add even more pop. Congrats.

A strange piece of scupture with outrageously intense colors. The composition of this shot is nice, but the bright light in the upper right leaves the colors washed out in that area. Good luck in the contest.
