A very interesting shot with great saturated colors and fine cropping.
You can really see the bristling hairs that cover the whole body, although the shallow depth of field at this magnification emphasizes the face. Good luck in the contest.

You have done a marvelous job capturing the texture of the hairs on this guy. His eyes are presented in such a way that they seem to be working on overload and glowing with the processes needed to cope with all the information being perceived. The flowers give nice color and are given and equal amount of texture and beauty. Great photo!
