6 stars for an exceptional perspective of a bird's host , super close up, excellent frame , I love the way he is observing you and may be is doing what he does just because he felt you in his back focused on him , animals feel what we think, they a re aware loll , excellent camera technique super color saturation, contrast and lighting , I love the uniform blue sky perfect as a natural color contrast , - wonderful composition, super shot, thanks for sharing

Fred,
A beautiful picture of the Grey Heron perched above you while it preens it's breast & at the same time keeps an eye on you. Artistic composition, framing & lighting. Superb camera techniques with sharp focus. So given time I could count the grey feathers of it's back & wings.

no complaints about sharpness or clarity of image on this one. It is clear as a bell. and it is so rich in yellows and rust colors, with just a hint of dark green in the lower corner. Fantastic capture! Great shot! donīt change a thing.

Wonderful blue of the sky. It contrasts well against the steel grey of the plumage, the yellow of the bird's eye and the yellow-green of the leaf in the foreground. Great details in sharp focus like the cascading feathers and the bird's claw gripping the bough.
