Yes the uploads seem to be lacking thought it was my cataract getting larger but fine until you upload :)
This is excellent timing to capture the heron preening and definitely got an eye on you - Colour and focus are great.

It looks reasonably sharp to me,sometimes though have noticed my uploads are not as sharp as my own ones,anyway good moment caught here,although a bit more of its head might have been a tad better,still you caught the eye in this well..brian
