This is a true representation of the 'Beauty and the Beast'! Sunflowers are among my favorites, and in fact, the sunflower is the state flower of Kansas. As to the grasshopper, I hate them second only to flies. Hoppers have ruined our garden each of the last 3 years. No matter what we did, they got it. Your photo is gorgeous though. The main one is beautiful, and it's apparent that those behind are as well. I really like that you got down to the flower's level to get such a good head on shot. I really love the effect of the second one just kind of looking over the shoulder. Wonderful! God bless, Lynnieellie

A very nice shot with or without the grasshopper. Excellent colors and beautiful composition. I especially like the field of flowers below the primary flower. A unusual place to find a background. It is much more common to see a background above the subject. A very nicely proportioned shot.
