Initial Impression:

Well captured and nicely balanced in the frame.

Feelings Evoked:

Luxury, grandeur, high-society.

Technical Elements:

An appealing capture that demonstrates a sharp focus and deep DOF; delivering crisp lines and details throughout the image. Your exposure is spot on for the light elements of the scene (a little touch of the dodge tool to the distant trees would bring out a little more detail there). The time of day of the shot along with the stillness of the day allowed for a mirror perfect reflection of both castle and surrounding trees. Nice white balance to deliver true white and RGB colors.

Artistic Elements:

I like your POV; your perspective allows for an interesting shot that gives this structure it's due justice (post card worthy). The subject is very interesting and aesthetically pleasing. The retaining wall on the right of the frame offers a very effective leading line to the castle. Your frame includes the forefront bushes, which make for a nice natural vignette.

Summary:

Beautiful - Other then the dodging tip to address the trees, I have no recommendations. This is very pleasing and intriguing to view. Kathy

How could you faulter with a gorgeous place such as this to photograph? A very magical influence comes across. Look at that water, it's like ice, reflecting everything it can even the blue of the sky.

good work

There are really some wonderful and breathtaking views to capture in France and your "reflected" view presented here is one of the best...Nicely done Mate

An excellent shot with great colors and a fine reflection. I like the composition with the bridge on the margin leading us into the "storybook" castle.

What a beautiful photo of this castle. I love the reflections in the water. Nice contrast, good focus, good lighting. I like the way the greenery frames the bottom of the photo and along the right side. Good luck in the contest.
