A very nice capture, I love the strong colors f this bird as it lets him really stand out against the flash background - a shot with beauty in simplicity or better said from the genre, less is more - great focus and exposure , your picture is clear and sharp and well framed , nice general impression, well done, thanks for sharing

Oops! I see what you mean by the precarious position it is holding. Although the plumage is very colourful, it is very difficult to lighten it without making the background overpowering. A nice image well positioned. Many thanks
