Papilio, mariposa, butterfly ... however you say it it just looks exquisite! The blanking swaths of coal blackness really sets this beauty off and makes it pop out! Love the rich earthy tones in the bark and the detailing on the wings and flaps is just perfect. Donīt touch a thing! Frame it... the photo, not the papilo.

This is a stunning shot of a beautiful butterfly.
I would have given you a 6 but I was all out of them.
Love the lighting and the sharpness of the piece.
It looks to me as though the butterfly has just come out of its cocoon.
Love the very dark background which brings out the brightness of the trunk of the tree. A very eye appealing piece and I really like the way that you have it framed. Great job!

Wow what a beautiful Swallowtail & the detail is so good all the black that devid's the tans & brown of the wings /than the lower black wings with the golden yellow

Well, I just had to go great on this one. Your focus is superb. The butterfly is gorgeous, I have never seen one of these, but it looks as though you could reach out and touch it. Nice clear focus and love the lighting and background makes it pop right off the canvas.
