A very fine shot with nice exposure for the whites and excellent colors. I think the cropping is perfect the details down to the pollen on the petal is outstanding.

They also have eyes like a house fly that differ from bees. A fine sharp photo of this hover fly working on the flower center. Nice exposure and a pin sharp focus to make all the detail show up so well. Like the soft white petals that make up the background for this hover fly. Good macro shot Fred!
