WOW but a very special one - wonderful capture, just at the perfect timing to see these open feather like a shell - what a handsome natural crown - great close up , super focus, genuine contrast and lighting

your shot is clear and sharp and genuine in color saturation , a very nice find and again a shot with teaching character as this kind of pigeon does not exist free living in our areas - I love the portrait style you present her , excellent shot, thanks for sharing

I like the idea of this photo and think that generally it works good. Having said that I think that with just a few minor edits with color and more cropping (too much space above the head feathers) and maybe sharpening a little, you would have had a much better image. I do like the background and the way you used it to highlight the bird.
