Good white balance for this image of the mushroom. Sounds pretty deadly for such a small fungi. Composition and focus are great.

Super information Fred, I would never pick mushrooms in the wild, too many varieties and hard to tell which ones are good and which ones can poison you! This one definitely is deceiving by looks. A wonderful photo of it and great notes!;)

Nice looking mushroom, great lights and shadows in this capture. And it looks so innocent! I love mushroom picking, wish I knew more about them. But, do have many books. This also has an excellent background and details.
