This is a fantastic shot. I love the clear shot that you got of the dear and how close you were able to get. Your framing and lighting are perfect as well. You did a wonderful job on this one my friend :) Well done!

Very nice capture!
I love the colours, the background is so soft and a lovely green.
The doe is pretty except for her ribs showing. I imagine she has been nursing; I hope she fattens up before winter.
I always enjoy wildlife photos and this is no exception.
Good job!

Thanks so much for the great review! I really appreciate it! We had a very harsh winter last year and this was taken in the early spring! I am sure she has fattened up since this was taken=) Thanks again my friend!` Lilibug6

You are welcome..I am glad to know this was a spring photo and not a fall one. Take care!

She's so skinny! Why? Anyway, super shot. Nice colors and super sharp details. Love that face and those radar dish ears! Cheers, James.

Gee... he looks so skinny! Poor baby. What is going to happen when winter comes?
I like the dusting of flowers (clover?) at his feet. Nice composition.

How very, very beautiful. It is almost time for hunting season to begin here and I hate it. I realize the deer can get overpopulated, but to
see them killed just breaks my heart.
I love your picture. The green is so luscious and the
deer is so lifelike.

Wonderful eye pleasing image. Like the green background really helps with the brown deer. Very nice details, very well focused. Thank you for sharing.

She is a beautiful lady and really stands out with the green grasses and clover. Very good frame, exposure and focus to show her tan coat and alert ears as she keeps an eye on you.
