You are right, that is a really ugly statue, but your picture of it is good. Your focus, framing, and lighting are all good. Thanks for sharing :)

Great detailed work, very sad and makes on wonder if this was some torture cage to die in. It seems by the upper arm that the person is right in to the bars. Good colours.

How bizare to produce such a statue it speaks of imprisonment and torment which doesn't really seem pleasing to the eye but I guess some artwork isn't. Good composition and focus.

It looks very gruesome Fred, torturous in fact. I don't know if I would want to have to look at it every day, it would give me the creeps! A great photo of it and all techs are super!;)

This is a picture rich in textures and details. I do not think this was his starting place, and I think it has to do with the customization / humanization of a tree, but this is just my idea, because of the texture of the skin. Well done

A photograph of a sculpture which represents the ugliness of life. Actually this is a fantastic shot. I would not have been able to see this sculpture otherwise.

So repugnant and inhuman. Reminds me of slavery in the past. Maybe, this is some sort of a semi-human creature. Well captured.

Great capture! The statue and cage remind me of photos
I've seen of prisoners of war, especially during the Asia-Pacific War during World War II and the Vietnam War during the 60's. Your photo certainly elicits an emotional response. Well done.
