Interesting and informative notes. Thank you. I happened to see them in the;dolphin' show at SeaWorld, San Diego last June. This is a nice shot. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!

Thanks for the notes would never have guessed because I have never seen one. They are not in our waters in South Australia as far as I know. We have the fun quieter whales. Nice action shot of this guy diving and creating a lovely swirl in the ocean. Makes for an effective photo

Interesting capture. The pose of the whale give the scene movement and shows his power. The rolling wave as he dives also shows the power of the diving whale. The crop and the focus is good. The dark contrast of the body against the waves really pop the shot.
