The humpback whale is really enormous is he not and always demands a good look BUT I think your pic could have been even better had you been able to improve the contrast and definition...Sorry !

very cool capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the whale going for the dive is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. great eye and great job overall.

I think itīs September when you can see the whales off the west coast of Colombia. I have never been, though, and only seen a small whale at a whale park where they charge admission to gawk :) I enjoy seeing the light off the area to the left of the fin. Really captivating image. I know so very little about whales, but they are inspirational creatures, donīt you think? Leave the photo like it is... my only suggestion.
