Wonderful color over this wonderful artistic canvas. Many things are happening here - first... the colors have the most engaging movement over the canvas. Grand light in those brush strokes as well. Fabulous. Thanks for sharing and Congrats!

A beautiful image that captures the grace and beauty of this species. The flight is nicely captured although my recollection is that the wings might be longer. Great colors and fine composition.

Those are Tropical Mockingbirds from the Caribbean. They look a bit different than the northern kind in the US.

I love mockingbirds and there beautiful songs they sing and sounds they mimic.
They are our state bird here in Florida.
Your painting is lovely Cleo and I especially like the one in flight. The colors are over the rainbow dreamy and magical.

I love Mockingbirds. They have elegance in their moves, in the air and on land, but they fight vicious when they have too.
Those in the painting are Southern Mockingbirds. It is a reminicence on my life south of the border, painted in 2014 when I was homethik for the Yucatan.

I think the whole image has a light subtle appeal that draws the viewer in.The bird in flight has a soft appearance of movement in his wings which captures the eye. To me it makes you think the flight is taking place in slow motion, just soaring. Love the calm found here! :o) Helvi
